{"id":313186,"date":"2025-08-03T00:14:14","date_gmt":"2025-08-03T00:14:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/313186\/"},"modified":"2025-08-03T00:14:14","modified_gmt":"2025-08-03T00:14:14","slug":"smethwick-police-shut-down-drugs-den-after-raid-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/313186\/","title":{"rendered":"Smethwick: Police shut down drugs den after raid"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Police acted on information in relation to the former Avenue Bar and Restaurant in Rolfe Street on Friday morning (August 1).\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Police carried out a raid at the derelict venue and found around 300 cannabis plants, Class A drugs and cash.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Following further searches, officers recovered a gun, which was found later\u00a0to be an imitation,\u00a0hidden inside a printer.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis, possession with intent to supply drugs and possession of an imitation firearm.
