An expert claims Prince Harry’s <\/a>reported attempt to reconcile with the Royal Family proves he hasn’t truly left the Firm – despite his and Meghan Markle’s <\/a>royal exit.<\/p>\n It comes as the Duke of Sussex is said to have offered to share his working schedule with the royal family to help avoid overlapping high-profile appearances with senior figures such as his father, King Charles<\/a>.<\/p>\n Harry’s gesture comes amid ongoing speculation about possible peace talks between his team and royal aides. However some royal commentators suggest that two key members of the royal family <\/a>may remain unwilling to forgive his past actions, the Mirror<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n Sources told the Mail on Sunday that Harry is offering to share his schedule with the royal family in an effort to avoid future clashes, such as when his trip to Angola, intended to honour his late mother’s legacy, inadvertently drew attention away from Queen Camilla’s 78th birthday.<\/p>\n The publication said the deal is even believed to extend to Prince William’s court at Kensington Palace, with sources claiming it’s hoped by sharing their diaries, it could lead to Prince Harry and King Charles meeting face to face.<\/p>\n With potential peace talks reportedly approaching, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond stated that Harry’s willingness to openly share his schedule demonstrates a genuine commitment to healing the longstanding rift with his family.<\/p>\n Speaking to the Mirror, Jennie said: “If it\u2019s true that Harry has agreed to share his diary, then it clearly is a concession that he acknowledges he is still part of the royal family and that \u2014 even to a very limited extent\u2014 they work best as a team.”<\/p>\n While many believe sharing schedules could help lead to a potential reunion, Jennie clarified that the act is to share the spotlight, ensuring that the important causes close to the Firm and Sussexes heart get their time to shine.<\/p>\n Jennie continued: “As much as the royal family might protest that they don\u2019t like publicity, there\u2019s very little point in doing all the good work they do unless they can shine a spotlight on the causes they are trying to help. And that means publicity. Therefore, if one royal knocks the other off the headlines because of a diary clash, it is the charities or causes they are trying to highlight which suffer. Coordinating diaries makes logical sense.”<\/p>\n The royal expert also speculated that “perhaps this reported move is a result of the recent meeting between the King\u2019s and the Sussex\u2019s teams. It would certainly make sense.”<\/p>\n Although many royal fans and commentators are hopeful for a reconciliation between Prince Harry and his family, the lasting impact of years of public criticism is unlikely to be easily undone. As Jennie said, even if King Charles is willing to meet with his younger son, rebuilding trust and repairing their relationship will likely take time.<\/p>\n Jennie stated: “We know that Harry wants a reconciliation with his UK family. He has said so publicly. But it\u2019s not something that can be done with a click of the fingers. There has been so much hurt and so much damage; that crucial element of trust has been lost after all Harry\u2019s accusations and revelations. The road to reconciliation is not going to be an easy one.”<\/p>\n \u201cHowever, the meeting between officials from the two sides does suggest that there may now be a willingness to find a solution.
