{"id":313668,"date":"2025-08-03T04:53:11","date_gmt":"2025-08-03T04:53:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/313668\/"},"modified":"2025-08-03T04:53:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-03T04:53:11","slug":"family-events-coming-to-lynn-museum-this-summer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/313668\/","title":{"rendered":"Family events coming to Lynn Museum this summer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Lynn Museum is bringing back its popular family events for the summer holidays.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Discovery Days will run every Wednesday from\u00a0August 6 to the 27th, from 10am\u201312.30pm and 1.30pm\u20134pm, with a lunch break between sessions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Booking is recommended but not essential.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Themed days include the Second World War\u00a0on Thursday, August 7; Victorians on Thursday, August 14; Medieval Lynn on Thursday, August 21; and Bronze Age on Thursday, August 28.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Activities will cover wartime rations, handling Victorian objects, medieval knight training and prehistoric medicine, with costumed characters, real artefacts and craft activities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Tickets cost \u00a33 for adults, \u00a32 for children aged four to 18 and 50p for under-fours.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Different themed trails will be available each week, offering families the chance to explore the museum and win a prize.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">For booking and enquiries, visit museums.norfolk.gov.uk\/events, call 01553 775001 or email lynn.museum@norfolk.gov.uk.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Lynn Museum is bringing back its popular family events for the summer holidays.
