Following the signings of Anton Stach and Lucas Perri, Leeds United looked well-placed to go on the attack and bring in two or three new faces in the final third for Daniel Farke.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But it has now been a week since Perri was announced by the club. With little over a fortnight to go until August 18\u2019s opener against Everton, Leeds\u2019 <\/a>lack of attacking options was laid bare against Villarreal.<\/p>\n

Leeds are prioritising moves for a new striker and a left-sided winger. One to come in above Joel Piroe and Lukas Nmecha, with Patrick Bamford and Mateo Joseph not in Daniel Farke\u2019s<\/a> plans at the moment.<\/p>\n

Leeds then, need additions. Beren Cross expects a striker, a winger and possibly a no.10<\/a> and Farke will want these on board before Everton. One player Leeds have seemingly prioritised is Bilal El Khannouss<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Relegated with Leicester after a move from Genk, Morocco international El Khannouss is one of the most in-demand players this summer. A bright spark in Leicester\u2019s year, El Khannouss wants an instant return.<\/p>\n

Leeds held a meeting with El Khannouss\u2019 camp last Wednesday<\/a> in a bid to thrash out a deal. It is claimed that Leeds have informed El Khannouss\u2019 representatives they will pay the \u00a324.5m clause in his contract.<\/p>\n

Now, Africa Foot<\/a> reveal the details of Leeds\u2019 offer to El Khannouss. With a transfer fee set, a \u00a350,000-a-week offer has been tabled for El Khannouss after Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli tried to sign the wide man.<\/p>\n

Why Leeds may have a trump card over rivals for El Khannouss<\/p>\n

Leeds are obviously, not the only side interested in El Khannouss. As aforementioned and according to the report from Africa Foot, Saudi Pro League giants Al Ahli have already tried to sign him this summer.<\/p>\n

Crystal Palace want El Khannouss<\/a>, while Sunderland could try to beat Leeds<\/a> and land another player on the Leeds list. But, Leeds have a trump card in pursuit of the Leicester man, thanks to Sebastiaan Bornauw.<\/p>\n

Bornauw and El Khannouss are both represented by Stirr Associates according to TransferMarkt<\/a>.
