Christine McGuinness<\/a> said she \u2018doesn\u2019t need to know\u2019 about her ex Paddy\u2019s love life after their split.<\/strong><\/p>\n Former Top Gear presenter Paddy, 51, split from Christine,<\/a> 37, in 2022 after 15 years together. The pair share children Penelope, Felicity and Leo together.<\/p>\n In a candid interview, the TV star, who still lives with her former husband, <\/a>has opened up on dating, insisting she has no plans to walk down the aisle again.<\/p>\n She told the Daily Mail:<\/a> \u2018We spoke about this after we separated \u2013 what are we comfortable with, how much did we want to share \u2013 because neither of us wants to wake up and find the other on the front page of a newspaper.<\/p>\n \u2018But it\u2019s been three years now, I don\u2019t need to know what he\u2019s doing and he doesn\u2019t need to know about me.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t \u2018It just stays outside the home.\u2019<\/p>\n When asked if she would ever bring a date home to the property she shares with Paddy, Christine shrieked: \u2018No way! Even if I lived on my own it would be a long time before I took that step.<\/p>\n \u2018I was messaging an amazing woman last year, and it took three months before I agreed to meet her for a date.\u2019<\/p>\n Discussing marriage after her split from Paddy, she added: \u2018I don\u2019t mean I\u2019m traumatised by marriage; I was just so young then. I didn\u2019t understand how you\u2019re legally tied to someone if you\u2019re married.<\/p>\n \u2018I want to be in a committed relationship, but I want the freedom to walk away.\u2019<\/p>\n \t\t Last year singer-songwriter,\u00a0Chelcee Grimes<\/a> revealed her seemingly hostile feelings towards\u00a0Christine.<\/p>\n Chelcee, 32, and\u00a0The Real Housewives of\u00a0Cheshire\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>star were spotted kissing multiple times over the past two years after Christine\u2019s split from Paddy.<\/p>\n While the two women never confirmed rumours they were dating, any possible romance seems to have ended.\u00a0<\/p>\n In a post captioned \u2018private but not a secret\u2019, Chelcee debuted her new relationship with an unknown woman and appeared to allude to an estrangement between her and Christine after liking a comment in which a person called the TV star \u2018a fake\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n The comment, which read: \u2018Christine is fake as they come, Chelcee deserved so much better. Christine can keep trying to get attention and fake a new romance\u2019, was made under Chelcee\u2019s post where she showed off her new partner.\u00a0<\/p>\n \t\t It remains unclear what happened between the two women, however, Chelcee seemed to share some inside information when she replied to a fan\u2019s comment.<\/p>\n \u2018Oh I adored you with Christine,\u2019 @Samanthawoods4044 wrote. Adding, \u2018Please say its her in a wife she has one of them bracelets in her vid too.\u2019<\/p>\n Christine and Paddy\u00a0announced their separation in 2022<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0shortly after their documentary, Our Family and Autism aired.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u2018We hadn\u2019t planned on sharing this publicly until we were ready but the lack of privacy surrounding our personal life, we feel left with no other option but to clarify,\u2019 they said in a joint statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u2018A while ago we took the difficult decision to separate but our main focus was as always is to continue loving and supporting our children. This was not an easy decision to make but we\u2019re moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children. We\u2019ll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together.\u2019<\/p>\n \u2018We hope this now draws a line under anymore unwanted and unnecessary intrusion into our private life. Although we work in the public eye we ask kindly if you could respect our wishes for privacy on this matter.
