All associated facilities (Cafes, Caravan Parks, Forest drives, Mountain Bike trails etc) will also be closed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The public are also advised not to visit the Council&#8217;s play parks, outdoor sport facilities and outdoor recreational areas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A statement added: &#8220;Council is advising the public not to visit forests, country parks, community trails, beaches, harbours, nature reserves and coastal sites in vehicles or on foot.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;Please note that there will be some delays in the re-opening of the Parks and Mountain Bike Trails on Tuesday (to facilitate full safety inspections). We will endeavour to reinstate public access as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;Please keep an eye on our social media channels for further updates.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Tyrone GAA Summer Camps postponed<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Tyrone GAA said: &#8220;With Storm Floris predicted to hit the county on Monday 4th August bringing high winds and rain a decision has been taken by all clubs hosting Club Tyrone Summer Camps this coming week to postpone Monday&#8217;s session. The affected clubs are:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"UnorderedList_unordered-list__gzblI\">\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Dromore<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Moy<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Castlederg<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Brocagh<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Tattyreagh<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Drumquin<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Aghyaran<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;An extra hour will be added to camps on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with camps running from 10am &#8211; 2pm. Given coach commitments to GAA For All camps there is no availability to extend camps to Friday.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Fermanagh and Omagh District Council<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">People are advised not to visit the Council&#8217;s outdoor facilities during the period of the weather warning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The following facilities and open spaces will be closed for public access during the period of the warning:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"UnorderedList_unordered-list__gzblI\">\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Cuilcagh Boardwalk Trail<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Gortin Glens Forest Park (including scenic drive)<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Lough Navar Forest Drive<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Household Recycling Centres (due to risk of flying debris)<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Forthill Park<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Henry Street Dog Park<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Killyfole Walk<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">North Fermanagh Valley Park<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Arleston Dog Park<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">St Julian\u2019s Park<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A statement added: &#8220;There may be some delays in the reopening of these sites to enable safety inspections. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. &#8220;<\/p>\n<p><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Silent Valley<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">NI Water said: &#8220;With a Met Office yellow weather warning in place for Storm Floris, Silent Valley Mountain Park will be closed on Monday 4th August 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;The closure comes as the forecast predicts Storm Floris is set to bring &#8216;unseasonable strong winds&#8217; along with &#8216;heavy rain&#8217;. Northern Ireland set to be one of the worst hit areas, according to the Met Office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;The decision has been taken in the interest of public safety as some trees at Silent Valley were damaged following Storm \u00c9owyn. While the park was partially reopened earlier this year, some walking and nature trails remain closed due to the damage.
