It\u2019s a gradual uphill now until a small bump shortly before the road rises again to the finish in Ch\u00e2tel<\/strong>. Gigante <\/strong>is now 3mins behind. She just has to finish the stage.<\/p>\n Share<\/a><\/p>\n 28km to go:<\/strong> The yellow jersey group have reached the summit of the Col du Corbier<\/strong> and are now on the descent. Vollering<\/strong> leads them out but then Niewiadoma-Phinney<\/strong> takes a turn on the front and pushes the pace. Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot<\/strong> is in third position. Watching some of the riders descending is also a pleasure, although it does make me tense a bit. It looks fun but there\u2019s so much at stake for these riders. Labous<\/strong> was dropped but has caught back on and gone straight past the yellow jersey group. She\u2019s flying down the descent! Niewiadoma-Phinney<\/strong> has a cut on her leg from when she came down at the start of the Col de Joux-Plane<\/strong>. Van der Breggen<\/strong>\u2019s lead has been trimmed down to 1min.<\/p>\n Share<\/a><\/p>\n 60km to go: Van der Breggen<\/strong> is just over 3km away from the summit of this brutal climb. Her lead is dropping slightly and is down to 1min 23secs. The yellow jersey group now consists of seven riders: Ferrand-Pr\u00e9vot<\/strong>, Gigante<\/strong>, Vollering<\/strong>, Niewiadoma-Phinney, Fisher-Black, Labous <\/strong>and W\u0142odarczyk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Share<\/a><\/p>\n On the topic of Squiban<\/strong> and the polka dot jersey, Beau<\/strong> emails in to say:<\/p>\n Squiban needs to make a big charge here to pick up any more points. But then, Gigante<\/strong> attacks again and quickly reduces that gap to 1min 33secs.<\/p>\n Share<\/a>Alba Teruel Ribes withdraws from the race<\/p>\n According to the Tour race centre, Alba Teruel Ribes<\/strong> (Laboral Kutxa-Fundacion Euskadi) has just left the Tour route and withdrawn from the race.<\/p>\n Share<\/a><\/p>\n 64km to go:<\/strong> Gigante<\/strong> attacks. He says:<\/p>\n Almost 10,000 kms away from Mauritius, we followed Kim Lecourt and the Tour with your help. She is now a star here and she made a statement that we could also compete with the best of the big countries on their terrain.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Share<\/a><\/p>\n 67km to go:<\/strong> Niewiadoma-Phinney<\/strong> is paced back to the yellow jersey group by her teammate Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig<\/strong> (Canyon\/SRAM zondacrypto). But they\u2019re quickly up and trying to get back to the peloton.<\/p>\n Share<\/a><\/p>\n 68km to go:<\/strong> Van der Breggen<\/strong> has started the tough Col de Joux-Plane<\/strong> climb (HC, 11.6km at 8.5%) and is being cheered by the huge crowds lining the road. The peloton follow 1min 43secs behind.<\/p>\n Share<\/a><\/p>\n 73km to go: Wiebes<\/strong> and Chabbey<\/strong> are back with the yellow jersey group. And just in time, as the intermediate sprint is up. Wiebes sweeps forwards and gets 20pts to add to her green jersey lead.<\/p>\n Share<\/a><\/p>\n 79km to go:<\/strong> Ricarda Bauernfeind<\/strong> (Canyon\/SRAM zondacrypto) gets down on to the drops and tries to acclerate away from the yellow jersey group but is swiftly brought back. Van der Breggen<\/strong>\u2019s lead remains steady at about 1min 30secs.<\/p>\n C\u00f4te d\u2019Ar\u00e2ches-la-Frasse QOM climb result:<\/strong><\/p>\n 1. When Squiban<\/strong> accelerated to get the QOM points, Chabbey<\/strong>\u2019s teammate Demi Vollering<\/strong> also upped the pace to try to take points away from the French rider and defend her teammate\u2019s polka dot jersey.
