Elon Musk\u2019s xAI has signed onto one of the three chapters of the code. The most prominent European tech companies that signed are Aleph Alpha and Mistral AI.<\/p>\n<p>Also on the list are Accexible, AI Alignment Solutions, Almawave, Bria AI, Cohere, Cyber Institute, Domyn, Dweve, Euc Inova\u00e7\u00e3o Portugal, Fastweb, Humane Technology, Lawise, Open Hippo, Pleias, Re-AuditIA, ServiceNow, Virtuo Turing and Writer.<\/p>\n<p>Meta is the most significant holdout. The company earlier announced it would not sign the code. <\/p>\n<p>Those not signing the code of practice will still have to live up to the requirements laid down in the EU\u2019s AI Act.
