He remains one of the funniest acts you will see in Edinburgh \u2013 without saying one word. Set in the museum\u2019s majestic Grand Gallery, all dances are suitable for beginners with no previous experience necessary \u2013 our caller will guide you through the steps on the night.\u202f\u202fBetween dances enjoy drinks, food, activities and explore a selection of the museum galleries at night.\u202f\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Book now\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/nms.ac.uk\/events\/museum-late-festival-ceilidh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nms.ac.uk\/events\/museum-late-festival-ceilidh<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Roadworks in Marchmont<\/p>\n<p>SP Energy Networks is set to start an extensive programme of works to modernise the electricity network in the Marchmont area of Edinburgh.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning on 4 August, the network operator will start work to boost both the low voltage and high voltage network in the area \u2013 laying over 250m of new low voltage cables, installing a new high voltage substation and removing 2 old, buried transformers.<\/p>\n<p>The works will ensure the network can keep up with the growing electricity demand within the region as residents adopt low carbon technologies like electric vehicles and heat pumps as well as improving the quality and continuity of electricity supplied locally.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the nature of these works, there will be an increase in SP Energy Networks\u2019 activity in the Marchmont area alongside rolling traffic management and parking restrictions from the beginning of August until the end of September.
