Liverpool kick off the first of two friendlies against Athletic Club with their rotated lineup, including a start for Alexis Mac Allister<\/a> at Anfield.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Reds face Spanish opponents Athletic Club in back-to-back friendlies on Monday night, with the first kicking off at 5pm (BST).<\/p>\n

Freddie Woodman<\/a><\/b> starts in goal behind a back line of Curtis Jones<\/a><\/b>, Luca Stephenson<\/a><\/b>, Kostas Tsimikas<\/a><\/b> and Andy Robertson<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>\n

Alexis Mac Allister<\/a><\/b> is likely to be deployed in the No. 6 role with Trey Nyoni<\/a><\/b> and Harvey Elliott<\/a><\/b> more advanced as No. 8 and No. 10.<\/p>\n

The forward line is made up of Ben Doak<\/a><\/b>, Rio Ngumoha<\/a><\/b> and Darwin Nunez<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>\n

There will be opportunities for a number of youngsters from the bench, including Jayden Danns<\/a> after he missed out onm the tour of Hong Kong and Japan.<\/p>\n

Arne Slot<\/a> is set to name a different lineup for the 8pm kickoff, which should see his strongest XI take to the field.<\/p>\n

Alisson<\/a> is absent for both games following his wife\u2019s surgery in Brazil, while Joe Gomez<\/a> misses out as he undergoes treatment for an Achilles injury.<\/p>\n
