Zara and Mike Tindall will be a huge \u201csupport\u201d for Prince William<\/a> when he becomes King.<\/p>\n

Zara and Mike Tindall huge ‘support’ to Prince William<\/p>\n

The 43-year-old Prince of Wales is next in line to the British throne after his father King Charles and royal insiders believe he could turn to his cousin Zara, 44, and her husband Mike, 46, to help him and his wife Catherine, Princess of Wales, with his duties.<\/p>\n

Royal commentator Jennie Bond told OK! Magazine: \u201cAs the years go by, I think they\u2019ll be a highly valued support for William when the time comes for him to be King. They are both very close to William and if he calls on them, they will definitely agree.\u201d<\/p>\n

It has been suggested that accomplished equestrian Zara could take on a role running royal horse racing, something William doesn\u2019t have a huge interest in.<\/p>\n

Jennie said: \u201cThere will be so many demands on William\u2019s time when he is King that I think it\u2019s a brilliant idea \u2013 if the reports are to be believed \u2013 that he might hand over racing matters to Zara. Like her mother, Princess Anne, she lives and breathes horses \u2013 she\u2019s also extremely glamorous and well-liked, it would be a perfect fit.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nAnd, William is said to rely on his close friendship with Mike, particularly as his relationship with his brother Prince Harry has been fraught since Harry and his wife Duchess Meghan stepped down as senior royals in 2020.<\/p>\n

\nJennie said: \u201cMike is increasingly the brother William no longer has \u2013 they are really first friends and big huggers.<\/p>\n
