The zone is open to the public and accessible to anyone with one of the operator\u2019s SIM cards and a 5G-compatible device.<\/p>\n<p>In its announcement, Vodafone Ukraine explained that until now 5G infrastructure in Ukraine has largely been limited to operator offices and industrial testbeds. The installation at KAI marks the first deployment of the technology on a university campus, offering students, the organisation and visitors direct access to advanced connectivity.\n                        <\/p>\n<p>Vodafone Ukraine CEO Olga Ustinova said \u201ca similar open 5G zone already operates in our Kyiv office, and we are happy to share cutting-edge technologies with the next generation of engineers, inventors, and entrepreneurs,\u201d adding the operator continues to gear up for a wider 5G rollout.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the 5G zone, Vodafone Ukraine and KAI are launching a joint master\u2019s program in Big Data and Data Science, with training provided by industry specialists from the former\u2019s Big Data Lab.
