Mickey,<\/a> who has starred in iconic films including The Wrestler and Iron Man 2, was one of the 13 original contestants taking part in the 2025 season of ITV’s<\/a> hit reality show.<\/a> Show bosses reportedly offered a huge fee to tempt the American star into the house – but he was ultimately thrown out early following a string of rule-breaking incidents.<\/p>\n While he was in the house, however, Mickey shared surprising facts about his personal life – including his claim that secret service officers once showed up at his door due to comments he made about President Trump. He made the claim while discussing his decision to nominate fellow Celeb Big Brother contestant, Sir Michael Fabricant for eviction during the first round of nominations.<\/p>\n Mickey explained: “He\u2019s a politician. Politics in general, they\u2019re telling you what they\u2019re going to do on one hand, and on the other hand they\u2019re not going to do a thing. He\u2019s involved in politics which I don\u2019t find very truthful and honest.”<\/p>\n He then said: “I got myself in some hot water back in the United States making some comments about a particular person that I\u2019m not gonna mention but it was no laughing matter when the Secret Service came to talk to me.”<\/p>\n His revelation came after he opened up during an interview on Piers Morgan<\/a> Uncensored in 2022. He had shared a picture of the Statue of Liberty in tears.<\/p>\n Mickey explained: “They call it the United States of America but it\u2019s now the Divided States of America and there\u2019s one big reason for that but I\u2019m not going to go into it because I don\u2019t need another visit from the Secret Service.”<\/p>\n When Piers asked why secret service had contacted him, Mickey replied: “Take a wild guess”, before confirming it was due to comments he made about Trump.<\/p>\n Mickey Rourke was removed from the Celebrity Big Brother<\/a> house last Saturday after a string of incidents – including the fact he reduced co-star Ella Rae Wise to tears after making a sexualised comment about her. Big Brother told the star: \u201cMickey, Big Brother needs to speak to you about your behaviour. Earlier today in a disagreement with Chris, your language and behaviour was threatening and aggressive. Big Brother does not tolerate threatening language or behaviour. In addition, you have used inappropriate sexual language to Ella.\u201d<\/p>\n Mickey then replied: \u201cOh, I\u2019m not aware of that but OK.\u201d And Big Brother went on: \u201dThis language has caused offence to your fellow housemates and could cause offence to the viewing public. This is not the first time Big Brother has had to speak to you about your offensive and inappropriate language.\u201d<\/p>\n Mickey said: \u201cYes sir. I did wrong. I apologise. I\u2019m sorry. I can\u2019t take it back, you know, I stepped over the line. And I take responsibility for doing the wrong thing. \u2018Cause I lost my temper, and I\u2019ve been trying to work on it my whole life and I wish I would have had better self-control and I\u2019m very sorry.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m ashamed of myself for losing it for a few seconds there. Nobody got touched or hurt. Maybe some feelings got hurt or maybe others have feelings about others getting upset but, you know, I\u2019m sorry about that.\u201d<\/p>\n Big Brother then declared: \u201cBig Brother considers your language and behaviour today to be seriously unacceptable and as a result Big Brother has no option but to ask you to leave the Big Brother house.\u201d<\/p>\n In a final comment, Mickey said: \u201cI blame myself, I know it was my bad. You know, I\u2019ve got a short fuse and I know I upset a lot of people out there, you know. And I\u2019m sorry for that. I\u2019m actually ashamed of myself for getting that hot. I went over the line, you know, I did wrong. I guess, like they say, I\u2019m a work in progress. I just wanna pack my bags and leave, you know. I wanted to leave yesterday actually but I wasn\u2019t chosen.\u201d<\/p>\n It has been reported that following his premature exit, Mickey’s reported \u00a3500,000 payment to take part in the ITV<\/a> show was slashed to just \u00a350,000.
