and to see if she could \u2018stick through it mentally\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, the <a data-ico=\"hyperlink-article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/08\/01\/rebecca-loos-unexpected-reaction-harsh-david-beckham-interrogation-celeb-sas-23810183\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">interrogation<\/a> she endured from the instructors in Episode 1 focused harshly on her scandal, with barely a mention of her current life as a wife and mother of two.<\/p>\n<p>Loos remained remarkably calm throughout \u2013 \u2018If they had asked me about more issues that are fresher in my heart, like my youngest son\u2019s diagnosis with a kind of autism just a few months before I went on the show, then they might have broken me down, got the waterworks going,\u2019<strong> <\/strong>Loos said in an interview \u2013 but the obsessive focus on her 20-year-old affair felt punishing.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t<video id=\"3486307\" class=\"video-js\" poster=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2025\/08\/01\/13\/100843291-0-image-a-13_1754051689255.jpg\" data-opts=\"{\" controls=\"\" sas:=\"\" who=\"\" dares=\"\" wins=\"\" series=\"\" trailer=\"\" part=\"\" in=\"\" the=\"\" seventh=\"\" season=\"\" of=\"\" tough=\"\" reality=\"\" show=\"\" are=\"\" broadcaster=\"\" adebayo=\"\" akinfenwa=\"\" ex-footballer=\"\" troy=\"\" deeney=\"\" boxer=\"\" conor=\"\" benn=\"\" and=\"\" tv=\"\" personalities=\"\" louie=\"\" spence=\"\" tasha=\"\" ghouri=\"\" hannah=\"\" spearritt.=\"\" them=\"\" will=\"\" be=\"\" rebecca=\"\" loos=\"\" chloe=\"\" burrows=\"\" bimini=\"\" michaella=\"\" mccollum=\"\" lady=\"\" leshurr=\"\" lucy=\"\" spraggan=\"\" adam=\"\" collard.=\"\" preload=\"metadata\" playsinline=\"\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"vjs-no-js\">To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tbrowser that<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/videojs.com\/html5-video-support\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">supports HTML5<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tvideo<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/video><\/p>\n<p>The questioning touched on whether she had any regrets, then shifted to what she thought might \u2018happen\u2019 after her alleged relationship with Beckham.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The only focus is ever on the f***ing Beckham situation,\u2019 Loos said to the cameras, visibly emotional.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018It felt unjust that my life was pretty hell and his career and his life just kept blossoming,\u2019 she continued; going on to remind the cameras: \u2018He was older than me, and he was my boss.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>You may argue that Loos has put herself in the firing line, but her treatment is in stark contrast to that of her <a data-ico=\"hyperlink-article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/08\/03\/rebecca-loos-inside-david-beckham-affair-rumours-celeb-sas-star-23816607\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fellow team member<\/a>, footballer Troy Deeney.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t<img width=\"646\" height=\"431\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/GettyImages-83439904-bc46.jpg\" class=\"article-image wp-image-22276770\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"\/><br \/>\n\t\tLoos remained remarkably calm throughout (Picture: Tim Whitby\/WireImage)<\/p>\n<p>Deeney was sentenced in 2012 for affray, after attacking a group of students near a nightclub, along with three other men. One student lay injured on the floor as he received blows to the head from Deeney and another man.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, the Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins instructors appeared sympathetic during Deeney\u2019s interrogation as he attributed his actions to grief over his father\u2019s illness.<\/p>\n<p>They also drew attention to his \u2018drive\u2019 as a sportsman and encouraged him to look at the show as an opportunity to feel proud without \u2018the outside noise\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, former rugby star Ben Foden was seemingly afforded a platform to portray himself as a victim when he appeared on the show in 2019, shortly after admitting to being unfaithful to his then-wife Una Healy with PR executive Becky Milne.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t<img width=\"646\" height=\"431\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/SEI_260744479-60fc.jpg\" class=\"article-image wp-image-23824097\" alt=\"Group shot of all recruits lined up on beach in Celebrity SAS\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"\/><br \/>\n\t\t\u2018Why is it that a woman\u2019s moral character remains defined by her past, while men are so often granted space to be redeemed?\u2019, asks Kat (Picture: Channel 4)<\/p>\n<p>Describing his life prior to the show as having been \u2018turned upside down both professionally and personally\u2019, he said it was \u2018nice\u2019 to have the opportunity to \u2018take myself away from that\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Why is it that a woman\u2019s moral character remains defined by her past, while men are so often granted space to evolve, rebrand, and be redeemed?<\/p>\n<p>Loos\u2019 appearance on the reality series comes less than two years after the Beckham scandal was rehashed during the footballer\u2019s <a data-ico=\"hyperlink-article\" href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2025\/05\/29\/victoria-beckham-warns-will-tears-new-tell-all-netflix-series-23282093\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">four-part self-titled 2023 Netflix documentary<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>While David and wife Victoria never mentioned her by name during the series, there were hints; and Loos noted at the time that her Instagram follower count had risen and her photos were attacked with hateful comments that called her a \u2018groupie\u2019, a \u2018homewrecker\u2019 and accused her of \u2018skanky\u2019 behaviour.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\t\t<img width=\"646\" height=\"431\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/SEI_260751115-c8aa.jpg\" class=\"article-image wp-image-23809770\" alt=\"Pictured: Rebecca Loos holding onto rope during Hang Tough task\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"\/><br \/>\n\t\tSAS: Who Dares Wins proves that for many, Loos will forever be known as \u2018the other woman\u2019 (Picture: Pete Dadds)<\/p>\n<p>\u2018How disgusting\u2019, said one user. \u2018Liar\u2019, said a second. \u2018You KNEW he was married\u2026enough said,\u2019 wrote a third. \u2018You just want attention. Get over it,\u2019 said yet another.<\/p>\n<p>It was all too reminiscent of the early noughties.<\/p>\n<p>When the story of Rebecca and David\u2019s alleged affair first broke in 2004, Rebecca\u2019s image seemed to be plastered across every front page and, within days, former \u2018friends\u2019 had sold stories about her.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>David was seemingly able to move on from the scandal unscathed. So she spoke out.<\/p>\n<p>She was reportedly paid \u00a3350,000 to talk to the News of the World, and was advised by celebrity agent Max Clifford, who she claimed had promised her \u2018ridiculous money\u2019 if she went into \u2018all the juicy details\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>She appeared to want to capitalise on her newfound fame with lad mag shoots and reality TV stints \u2013 but what choice did she have?<\/p>\n<p>Her notoriety would have made it impossible to return to her previous role.<\/p>\n<p>Sadly, though, her venture into reality TV was yet another opportunity to drag her through the mud and humiliate her.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Her appearance on<a href=\"https:\/\/eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmetro.co.uk%2F2023%2F10%2F04%2Frebecca-loos-the-farm-pig-david-beckham-netflix-affair-victoria-19602753%2F&amp;data=05%7C02%7CIzzie.Price%40metro.co.uk%7C6251b4f380614763844908ddd34faf6c%7C0f3a4c644dc54a768d4152d85ca158a5%7C0%7C0%7C638899061377185101%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=s1G7%2FcauHS9Zn2s0%2Bp5tcFtOTuA5UnYGiUzRFQ6gaKg%3D&amp;reserved=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Channel 5\u2019s The Farm in 2004 saw her asked to extract semen from a nine-month-old boar<\/a>, which was meant to be used to impregnate pigs on the farm.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In 2005, she appeared on Celebrity Love Island and sparked speculation she\u2019d had sex with Calum Best. Even though she was single at the time,\u2018So that\u2019s why she\u2019s called Loos\u2019, a headline read.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>A year later, she starred on The X Factor: Battle of the Stars and was paired with James Hewitt, who had previously claimed he had an affair with Princess Diana. Judge Sharon Osborne blasted the pair for singing Addicted to Love and<a href=\"https:\/\/eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmetro.co.uk%2F2023%2F10%2F05%2Fsharon-osbourne-advice-rebecca-loos-david-beckham-affair-19609743%2F&amp;data=05%7C02%7CIzzie.Price%40metro.co.uk%7C6251b4f380614763844908ddd34faf6c%7C0f3a4c644dc54a768d4152d85ca158a5%7C0%7C0%7C638899061377206151%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=sNgjmERrxuVldhOGuk3BRGlFKb0A3GREQWSDlEAIQTQ%3D&amp;reserved=0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> advised Loos \u2013 who was only wearing a short dress with no lingerie issues \u2013 to \u2018try doing tomorrow\u2019s performance with your knickers on\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>No matter what Loos did, she could never outrun her past with Beckham.<\/p>\n<p>And that statement seems to still be true 21 years on.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In promotional photos for Celeb SAS: Who Dares Wins on her Instagram page, Loos opted to limit comments. An understandable decision, given the wave of online abuse she previously faced amidst the Beckham documentary.<\/p>\n<p>And in the trailer for the rest of the show, clips that show her being screamed at and punched while sparring \u2013\u00a0not to mention the overt Beckham focus during her interrogation \u2013\u00a0evoke memories of the harsh and often degrading experiences she faced at the hands of early noughties TV.<\/p>\n<p>While David has gone on to enjoy greater fame, wealth, and even a knighthood, Loos\u2019 appearance on SAS: Who Dares Wins proves that for many, she will forever be known as \u2018the other woman\u2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Do you have a story you\u2019d like to share?
