Liverpool\u2019s lineup for their second of two friendlies against Athletic Club is closer to their strongest XI, with Florian Wirtz<\/a> among five new signings to start.<\/b><\/p>\n

After a mixed side of squad players and youngsters earned a 4-1 victory in the first friendly, Arne Slot<\/a> has restored his key names for their 8pm kickoff.<\/p>\n

With Alisson<\/a> absent that means another start for Giorgi Mamardashvili<\/a><\/b>, filling the goal behind a back four of Jeremie Frimpong<\/a><\/b>, Ibrahima Konate<\/a><\/b>, Wataru Endo<\/a><\/b> and Milos Kerkez<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>\n

Ryan Gravenberch<\/a><\/b> will take up the No. 6 role with Dominik Szoboszlai<\/a><\/b> and Wirtz<\/b> joining him in midfield.<\/p>\n

Mohamed Salah<\/a><\/b> and Cody Gakpo<\/a><\/b> flank \u00a379 million striker Hugo Ekitike<\/a><\/b> in a strong, versatile front three.<\/p>\n

Alisson<\/a> is not Liverpool\u2019s only absentee, with Virgil van Dijk<\/a> ill and both Joe Gomez<\/a> and Conor Bradley<\/a> sidelined through injury.<\/p>\n
