Leeds United\u2019s<\/a> top target to strengthen up front appears to be Fulham\u2019s Rodrigo Muniz<\/a>, but they aren\u2019t the only club appreciating the Brazilian\u2019s talents.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Just two weeks remain between now and the start of Leeds\u2019 Premier League campaign at home to Everton in front of the cameras.<\/p>\n

So far, Daniel Farke has seven fresh faces added to his squad, but went on the record to state his insistence for new attacking signings soon.<\/p>\n

Farke\u2019s comments<\/a> after a 1-1 draw against La Liga\u2019s Villarreal depicted a manager knowing time is wearing thin<\/a> before his side\u2019s survival bid gets underway, in particular how his attack is currently shaping up.<\/p>\n

Muniz, 24, is in the final year of his contract, but Fulham hold the option to extend by a further year, effectively meaning he has two years on his deal as things stand.<\/p>\n

Leeds aren\u2019t the only side that are admirers of Muniz\u2019s talents, having scored 17 across his previous two Premier League campaigns.<\/p>\n

The same update from Sky<\/a> reveals that Serie A side Atalanta are also interested in signing Muniz, having lost star striker Mateo Retegui to Saudi Arabian side Al Qadsiah earlier this window.<\/p>\n

Atalanta are armed with \u00a356million<\/a> from Retegui\u2019s exit, are actively hunting for their replacement, and therefore could bankroll a move to prise Muniz out of Craven Cottage as a result.<\/p>\n

Leeds thought they had a real chance of signing Igor Paixao from Feyenoord, only for Marseille\u2019s offer of Champions League football to beat them to the punch.<\/p>\n

The same situation could easily unfold here with Muniz, who now has not only Leeds on his tail, but also Atalanta with Champions League football to offer too.<\/p>\n

Of course, the third aspect of this is that Fulham are not wanting to sell and therefore will need a huge bid to consider letting him leave, which ups the price.<\/p>\n

If Leeds mean business in staying up, a striker of Muniz\u2019s calibre would be some statement to make.<\/p>\n
