previous two Premier League campaigns.

The same update from Sky reveals that Serie A side Atalanta are also interested in signing Muniz, having lost star striker Mateo Retegui to Saudi Arabian side Al Qadsiah earlier this window.

Atalanta are armed with <a href="https://www.espn.co.uk/football/story/_/id/45789102/italy-striker-mateo-retegui-al-qadsiah-atalanta" target="_blank" Igor Paixao from Feyenoord, only for Marseille’s offer of Champions League football to beat them to the punch.

The same situation could easily unfold here with Muniz, who now has not only Leeds on his tail, but also Atalanta with Champions League football to offer too.

Of course, the third aspect of this is that Fulham are not wanting to sell and therefore will need a huge bid to consider letting him leave, which ups the price.

If Leeds mean business in staying up, a striker of Muniz’s calibre would be some statement to make.

Let me
