Case in point: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.standard.co.uk\/lifestyle\/cherry-blossom-best-places-kew-gardens-greenwich-park-b1217661.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cheery blossom<\/a>, daffodils and bluebells are all over our social feeds right now, alongside pictures of the first wallet-wounding corner shop-procured picnic spreads of the season.<\/p>\n<p>And if it\u2019s bluebells you want to spy (they\u2019re now in season until mid May, so be quick), then we have your guide to where to find them in formation across London. They grow wild many places in small numbers, but these are the best places to see impressive natural displays.<\/p>\n<p>Remember: they\u2019re a protected species, so never pick them or trample them. Head to Bluehouse Grove, Chalet Wood or Strawberry Hill for the best chance to spot them.  Or try the three-mile Abridge Country Walk, known for its displays of bluebells in Great Wood and Apes Grove.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Nearest stations:<\/strong> Chingford, Wanstead, or Loughton<\/p>\n<p>Highgate Wood, North London<\/p>\n<p>Helpfully, bluebell areas are signposted in Highgate\u2019s ancient span of woods, and they\u2019re particularly prominent in the northern section. It\u2019s also home to an impressive castle, which will add interest to your jaunt.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Nearest station:<\/strong> Falconwood Rail Station  <\/p>\n<p>Old Park Wood, West London<\/p>\n<p>Providing one of the city\u2019s best opportunities for bluebell spotting, ancient Old Park Wood is also home to diverse flowers, from yellow archangel to wood anemone, which unite to make a pretty display in spring!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nearest station: <\/strong>Northwood Rail Station<\/p>\n<p>Ruislip Woods, Hillingdon, North West London<\/p>\n<p>Ruislip Woods are worth the extra travel time, as they\u2019re London&#8217;s first National Nature Reserve.
