We’ve found a box of tea with a message that says, ‘Just in case you can’t find a cuppa in heaven.’<br \/>“But for me, the one that stands out the most is (the concert ticket) that someone’s left a message on. It probably meant a lot to someone at one point in their life.”<br \/>Ozzy’s family viewed the tributes during his funeral procession in the city last week and said they were “deeply moved” by the affection the public had for the Prince of Darkness – who had played his final gig with Black Sabbath at Birmingham’s Villa Park stadium just 17 days prior to his death.<br \/>A statement read: “We are deeply moved by the heartfelt tributes that have been placed at the Black Sabbath Bridge and at the Black Sabbath mural on Navigation Street in recent days.<br \/>“These expressions of remembrance reflect the profound impact that Ozzy had on the city and its people, as well as fans from around the world – BIRMINGHAM FOREVER!”<br \/>Lord Mayor of Birmingham Zafar Iqbal said: “We understand how important it is for the community to have a space to grieve and celebrate Ozzy’s legacy.<br \/>“We know fans will continue to pay their respects at the Black Sabbath Bridge and the mural on Navigation Street, as well as visiting the Ozzy exhibition.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Tributes left for Ozzy Osbourne in his home city of Birmingham are to be taken down and given…\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":318627,"comment_status":"","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[7820],"tags":[855,984,87248,748,115731,393,4884,112076,29260,16,15],"class_list":{"0":"post-318626","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-birmingham","8":"tag-birmingham","9":"tag-birmingham-city-council","10":"tag-black-sabbath-bridge","11":"tag-britain","12":"tag-concert-ticket","13":"tag-england","14":"tag-great-britain","15":"tag-osbourne-family","16":"tag-ozzy-osbourne","17":"tag-uk","18":"tag-united-kingdom"},"share_on_mastodon":{"url":"https:\/\/pubeurope.com\/@uk\/114973696556022639","error":""},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/318626","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=318626"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/318626\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/318627"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=318626"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=318626"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=318626"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
