Hollywood actor Tom Holland took a break from filming the new Spider-Man movie to high-five young fans and pose for photos. <\/p>\n

Footage shows the star on set in Glasgow – where he is currently filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a> – as he stopped to chat with fans. <\/p>\n

An explosive police pursuit scene was filmed on Bothwell Street as NYPD cars chased after after a tankCredit: Mark Gibson<\/p>\n

The video shows the 29-year-old A-lister on Bothwell Street on Sunday morning in full costume.<\/p>\n

He high-fived a young boy, before telling him: “I have to get back to work”.<\/p>\n

Lauren Rankin, 30 – who was going to a gym on the street and captured the sweet moment – said Tom came over to the lad who was shouting out for him.<\/p>\n

He then picked up another child, dressed as Spider-Man, and posed for a photo.<\/p>\n

Lauren, who works for a local charity, said: “It was really cool. <\/p>\n

“Spider-Man is my favourite superhero.<\/p>\n

“It was also lovely to see him interacting with fans like that.<\/p>\n

“Plus I got a security escort to the gym.”<\/p>\n

Lauren waited in the crowd of “around 100 people” for 15 minutes while Tom Holland acknowledged fans.<\/p>\n

Filming for the new Spider-Man movie began on Friday last week and is expected to last two weeks – with parts of Glasgow<\/a> transformed into New York<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We told how Spider-Man movie crews filmed an explosive car chase scene on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

The sensational stunt saw\u00a0cars\u00a0flying\u00a0down\u00a0the city’s Bothwell Street – which\u00a0has been transformed into downtown New York<\/a>\u00a0– followed by huge explosions.<\/p>\n

Film crews descended on the city to film scenes for\u00a0Marvel<\/a>\u00a0film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth instalment\u00a0featuring Tom Holland, 29, as the masked web slinger<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0pursuit involving a tank has been filmed in the city<\/a>\u00a0centre over the weekend.<\/p>\n

The huge armoured vehicle sped down the street being pursued by three NYPD\u00a0police<\/a>\u00a0cars with red and\u00a0blue\u00a0lights flashing.<\/p>\n

The vehicle appeared to be ‘firing’ one of its prop\u00a0guns<\/a>, with light being seen coming from the weapon as it soared along the road.<\/p>\n

Two other cars were speeding behind the tank, one carrying a device used to trigger the blast.<\/p>\n

As the speeding police cars approached a junction, a huge fireball erupted sending out a ferocious boom as part of the stunt.<\/p>\n
