In it, she dresses up as Wonder Woman, and recently joked about throwing her name into the ring for the role.<\/p>\n<p>What did Carson say about playing Wonder Woman in the DCU? <\/p>\n<p>Speaking to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comingsoon.net\/movies\/features\/2012015-sofia-carson-corey-mylchreest-my-oxford-year-interview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ComingSoon<\/a>, Carson was asked if her brief appearance in costume was any sort of declaration to try and become DCU\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/superherohype.com\/tag\/wonder-woman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Wonder Woman<\/strong><\/a>. Carson said that she\u2019s always loved the character, and while she had her eyes on another role that she\u2019d love to see happen one day, she also wouldn\u2019t mind if she was asked to play Wonder Woman for the DCU.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh, I\u2019ve always been very vocal that I\u2019ve loved, loved Wonder Woman,\u201d said Carson. \u201cI loved Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. I\u2019ve always said if there\u2019s like a Wonder Girl or a daughter or a niece somewhere, that I would put my hat in the ring. But I\u2019m also super game for Wonder Woman.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Warner Bros. is on the look for a new Wonder Woman to appear throughout the <a href=\"http:\/\/superherohype.com\/tag\/dc-universe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DCU<\/a>. A film for the iconic DC hero is currently in the works, with Ana Nogueira (who also wrote the script for the Supergirl movie) writing it.<\/p>\n<p>Not much else is known about the Wonder Woman movie at this time, as plot details remain under wraps and a director is not yet attached to the project. A previous report from Variety did note that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/tag\/dc-studios\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DC Studios<\/a>\u00a0were fast-tracking the Wonder Woman movie into development. On Threads, Gunn <a href=\"https:\/\/www.superherohype.com\/movies\/613952-wonder-woman-dcu-movie-writer-revealed-familiar-dc-fans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recently addressed this<\/a>, saying, \u201cIt\u2019s a priority but I wouldn\u2019t call that fast-tracked.
