Despite significant interest from the Premier League<\/a>, Rodrygo appears set to remain with Real Madrid<\/a>, reports the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Arsenal had previously been linked with a summer move for the Brazilian winger, 24, although they face competition from Liverpool and Tottenham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, it seems that Rodrygo is keen to remain at his current club. Spanish publication AS reports that the player is eager to stay at the Bernabeu and fight for his place under Xabi Alonso.<\/p>\n

Rodrygo is confident in his ability to enhance the squad’s existing options. This could potentially prompt Arsenal to seek attacking reinforcements elsewhere.<\/p>\n

While Liverpool were reportedly interested in competing with Arsenal for Rodrygo, they have already outpaced their Premier League rivals in securing one player.<\/p>\n

The Reds have confirmed the signing of Salford City striker Will Wright, 17, despite Arsenal having previously agreed a deal with the teenager.<\/p>\n

It was earlier reported that Arsenal had offered around \u00a3250k for the young talent, but he has chosen to head to Anfield instead.<\/p>\n

French defender Jeremy Jacquet has declined a move to Arsenal following an approach from the Gunners.<\/p>\n
