Wales forward Georgia Walters has joined Gwalia United from Blackburn Rovers.<\/b><\/p>\n
The 32-year-old former Liverpool striker is the Welsh club’s fifth signing in preparation for their 2025-26 FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division campaign.<\/p>\n
Walters, who has five Wales caps, began her career at Swindon Town and has also played for Reading and Tranmere Rovers, as well as two spells with Blackburn – playing last season in the FA Women’s Championship, now rebranded as WSL 2.<\/p>\n
“Each year, the league gets harder and harder, and having experience in higher divisions can become invaluable,” said Walters.<\/p>\n
“I know a couple of teammates from previous camps.
