\n Priya Mudahar, who attends Etonbury Academy in Arlesey,\u00a0has beaten the\u00a0competition from across Great Britain\u00a0to be named as one of the semi-finalists.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n Priya, who spends a lot of time with her grandparents in Letchworth, said: “I’m so excited to have made it to the semi-final. It’s\u00a0a great\u00a0achievement!”\n<\/p>\n
\n This is Priya’s first pageant experience.\u00a0Asked why she decided to take part, she\u00a0said:\u00a0“I wanted to challenge myself in a new way.\n<\/p>\n
\n “When I heard about the pageant, I thought it would be a great opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, meet new people, and grow more confident.\n<\/p>\n
\n “It\u2019s not just about the looks, there\u2019s so much more to it, like public speaking, community involvement, and showing who you really are.\n<\/p>\n
\n “That\u2019s what really made me want to be a part of it.”\n<\/p>\n
\n To get to the semi-final stage, Priya has completed an initial pageant application and submitted photographs, as well as completing a detailed questionnaire designed to highlight her character, aspirations, and suitability for the competition.\n<\/p>\n
\n Priya’s mum, Nicole, said: “We feel incredibly proud of our daughter and all the hard work she\u2019s put into preparing for the pageant.\n<\/p>\n
\n “For her, it\u2019s about so much more than just the stage – it\u2019s about building confidence, learning how to carry herself with poise, and developing strong communication skills.\n<\/p>\n

\n The grand final of Miss Teen Great Britain will be held in\u00a0Blackpool later this year, with the finalists enjoying a Beauty Queen Challenge\u00a0Day and a pyjama diva party over a fun-filled weekend.\n<\/p>\n
\n Priya said: “Making it to the grand final would be a dream come true.\n<\/p>\n
\n “Fingers crossed I will be able to represent my hometown and win the Miss Teen Great Britain crown.”\n<\/p>\n
