BBC Sport pundit Chris Sutton has insisted that one team is the clear \u2018favourite\u2019 going into Manchester United and Wolves\u2019 Premier League clash at Old Trafford.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Manchester United<\/a> currently languish in 14th place in the Premier League table and the Red Devils have only managed 10 wins from 32 matches this season.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils have six league fixtures remaining in the 2024-25 campaign and United are on course for their worst finish in the Premier League table.<\/p>\n

United face the real risk of not securing European football for the 2025-26 season, but the Red Devils\u2019 hope now hinges on their Europa League campaign.<\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim\u2019s<\/a> men are through to the Europa League semi-finals after United\u2019s 5-4 comeback win over Lyon<\/a> in the second-leg quarter-final tie on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n

United and Lyon played a 2-2 draw<\/a> in the first-leg Europa League clash at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais ahead of the return-leg quarter-final match at Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ruben Amorim could still sign off the season with his first piece of major silverware as United manager<\/a> and secure the Red Devils\u2019 return to the Champions League.<\/p>\n

Speaking in his BBC Sport column<\/a>, Chris Sutton<\/a> suggested that Vitor Pereira\u2019s Wolves side will be the \u201cfavourites\u201d to win at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

However, the 52-year-old Blackburn Rovers and Norwich City striker backed Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes<\/a> to score for his side in the match.<\/p>\n

Bruno Fernandes has once again proven his importance to the United first team<\/a> and has remained a key player for Ruben Amorim since the Red Devils manager\u2019s arrival.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cWolves have already beaten Manchester United once this season and, on current form, they are favourites this time too,\u201d Sutton said.<\/p>\n

\u201cVitor Pereira\u2019s side are flying with four straight wins, and we know how inconsistent United are.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am going to give Bruno Fernandes a goal, because he has been one of the few United players who can hold their head up high with their performances this season, but at the moment, Wolves look well-balanced, and they are the better team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chris Sutton\u2019s major Premier League scoreline prediction for Man Utd vs Wolves at Old Trafford<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wolves are two spots behind United in the Premier League table and Vitor Pereira\u2019s men have won four of their last five league matches in the 2024-25 campaign.<\/p>\n

Sutton said on Thursday that United\u2019s success in Europe in the Europa League does not take away from their mixed form in the Premier League this season.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnited\u2019s whole campaign is still hanging on what happens in the Europa League and we will have to wait and see whether their incredible late comeback to beat Lyon on Thursday to reach the semi-finals changes anything about their awful Premier League form,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am sorry to say this but I am expecting their fans to have another miserable afternoon at Old Trafford, where they have already lost more league games [seven] than they have won [six] this season.\u201d<\/p>\n
