Prezzo Italian is set to open a new restaurant in Edinburgh later this month, its first new site in five years.<\/p>\n
The launch forms part of a limited expansion plan for the casual dining operator, which has also confirmed a new site in Rugby, due to open in September.<\/p>\n
The new Edinburgh restaurant follows what the company describes as a strong third quarter, with like-for-like sales reportedly up 11%. Four refurbished sites trialling the updated brand design have seen an average sales uplift of 60% compared to last year, according to the business.<\/p>\n
Prezzo Italian plans to refurbish 15 additional sites in 2025, with a further 40 earmarked for 2026.<\/p>\n
The Prezzo Italian transformation is led by CEO James Brown, the former CEO of BrewDog Global Hospitality Business including bars, hotels and restaurants, who joined the brand in November last year.\u00a0 He said, \u201cThis is a hugely exciting moment for Prezzo Italian, as we look to open our first new restaurants in five years.
