In a statement released the following day, the group said they were \u201cshocked and saddened\u201d by the tragic incident and extended their \u201csincere condolences\u201d to the man\u2019s family and friends.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"ho-bl-1081603 -no-figcaption\" cite=\"\">\n<p id=\"eyy-3loRkWM\">Oasis\u2019 full statement, issued on August 3rd, read:<strong>\u00a0\u201cWe are shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of a fan at the show last night. Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p> <img src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/db954877d392-cardiff-wales-oasis-perform-on-stage-during-the-opening-night-of-their-live-25-t.jpg\"   width=\"1200\" height=\"806\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Oasis perform on stage during the opening night of their Live 25' Tour at Principality Stadium on July 04, 2025 in Cardiff, Wales.\" fetchpriority=\"auto\" class=\"image ho-image\"\/>\u00a9 Gareth CattermoleOasis perform on stage during the opening night of their Live 25&#8242; Tour at Principality Stadium on July 04, 2025 in Cardiff, Wales.<\/p>\n<p id=\"eC0TKNX8m2\" data-wc=\"39\">According to the Metropolitan Police, <strong>officers on duty at the 90,000-seat stadium, along with venue medics and the London Ambulance Service, responded to reports at 22:19 BST that a man in his 40s had fallen from the upper tier.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"eFBNtpEqgK\" data-wc=\"40\"><strong>The highest stands at Wembley Stadium reach approximately 170 feet above the ground.\u00a0<\/strong>Police said in a statement, \u201cA man aged in his 40s was found with injuries consistent with a fall. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"e9wYj5Mr5-\" data-wc=\"47\">\u201cThe stadium was busy, and we believe it is likely that a number of people witnessed the incident, or may have knowingly or unknowingly caught it on mobile phone video footage. If you have any information that could help us to confirm what happened, please call 101.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p id=\"ekkHNqf9Nb\" data-wc=\"55\">Multiple concertgoers took to social media to describe what they witnessed. One attendee posted on Facebook,<strong>\u00a0\u201cThe atmosphere was incredible. We were nearing the end of the concert, when in the middle of Wonderwall, he fell right in front of us, a few metres away.
