Grant Hanley<\/p>\nOne of Blues’ League One title winners is close to joining a new clubGrant Hanley<\/p>\n
Hibernian are closing in on the signing of former Birmingham City<\/a> defender Grant Hanley.<\/p>\n Hanley was at Easter Road to watch Hibs take on Midtjylland<\/a> in the Europa League<\/a> last week and head coach David Gray has confirmed he is pushing to sign the centre-back.<\/p>\n The 33-year-old former Blackburn, Newcastle and Norwich defender is a free agent after helping Birmingham<\/a> win the League One title in the second half of last season.<\/p>\n Gray said: \u201cWe are in advanced talks with that one. We\u2019re hoping to see what that one can look like.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s someone that has played at a very high level. I speak about that all the time, trying to find the right type of people into the football club.
