Jayden Bogle arrived from Sheffield United last summer, with Leeds United signing the right-back in the last year of his contract.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Blades<\/a> lost the play-off final just over two months ago and had to watch on as Jayden Bogle<\/a> and Leeds United<\/a> won the title after securing 100 points in their league campaign.<\/p>\n

Dan James won the Player of the Year award but Ao Tanaka and Bogle were Leeds\u2019 standouts<\/a> in getting the team to run as it should as the engines of Daniel Farke\u2019s side.<\/p>\n

Ethan Ampadu believes Bogle is \u2018outstanding\u2019<\/a> and the pair will have enjoyed their old club failing to join Leeds. Bogle even took a swipe at Sheffield United<\/a> following promotion.<\/p>\n

Bogle was praised by Sheffield United\u2019s Chris Wilder<\/a> in spite of leaving for Leeds. However, failure to gain promotion means more sales like Bogle are in the offing this summer. The club are feeling the after effects of Wembley\u2019s disappointment.<\/p>\n

Wilder has been replaced by Ruben Selles and Gus Hamer is still a Sheffield United player; but Vini Souza, Rhian Brewster, Kieffer Moore, and Anel Ahmedhodzic have all since departed.<\/p>\n

When Bogle left South Yorkshire for West Yorkshire, Sheffield United\u2019s official announcement<\/a> reported that it was a \u201csignificant undisclosed fee\u201d. <\/p>\n

We have since found out that Bogle cost Leeds around \u00a35 million<\/a> in the final year of his contract. That is the same as Ahmedhodzic, which has an eerily similar feel for a Sheffield United side whose recent play-off misery has been compounded by the latest exit.<\/p>\n

Igor Paixao snubbed Leeds but the fee to Feyenoord<\/a> from Marseille has already been put to use by the club, with Ahmedhodzic arriving today. <\/p>\n

Not only did a former Leeds target help to sign a Sheffield United player, but the eerily similar announcement will remind Leeds fans of Bogle and the perhaps somewhat petty use of \u201csignificant\u201d.<\/p>\n

It seems to be somewhat of a theme, but the irony of a Leeds target securing Feyenoord one of their key targets should also please a number of fans of a Leeds persuasion.<\/p>\n

Now 25, Bogle is entering his prime. The club will be looking for him to perform slightly better than he has in previous campaigns at the level, more so defensively than as an attacking player.<\/p>\n

Bogle is crucial in build-up phases but also a real threat when allowed to attack the box and join in with other Leeds forwards; Farke won\u2019t want to lose that aspect, nor to restrict Bogle too much.<\/p>\n
