{"id":320479,"date":"2025-08-05T18:30:13","date_gmt":"2025-08-05T18:30:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/320479\/"},"modified":"2025-08-05T18:30:13","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T18:30:13","slug":"picture-released-of-3-year-old-leeds-murder-victim-hope-mcgrath-as-mum-appears-in-court-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/320479\/","title":{"rendered":"Picture released of 3 year old Leeds murder victim Hope McGrath as mum appears in court | News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"subtitle\">47 year old Pippa McGrath was remanded into custody following a court appearance earlier<\/p>\n<p>Author: Matt SoanesPublished 1 hour ago<\/p>\n<p>The family of a three year old girl who police believe was murdered in Leeds last week have released a picture of her.<\/p>\n<p>Hope McGrath was found unresponsive at a home in Austhorpe Court, Colton.<\/p>\n<p>Her mum, 47 year old Pippa McGrath, appeared before Leeds Crown Court earlier today charged with murder and has since been remanded into custody.<\/p>\n<p>Detective Chief Inspector Stacey Atkinson, of West Yorkshire Police\u2019s said: \u201cWe are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Hope\u2019s death.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA photograph of the three-year-old has been released by her family. I would ask that people respect their privacy at this extremely difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A post-mortem is due to take place on hope tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>McGrath did not enter a plea during her court appearance earlier.
