Untouchable throughout his professional career, Oleksandr Usyk may have a potential threat to his gleaming run in the sport if he ever gets matched against another lethal finisher.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Scoring career win number 24 just weeks ago, Usyk made light work of Daniel Dubois with another crushing knockout<\/a> \u2014 becoming a two-time undisputed heavyweight champion, adding to the undisputed cruiserweight spoils he previously held.<\/p>\n

And with his career in the sport potentially on the final turn, a host of stars have been suggested as opponents in what may come as Oleksandr Usyk\u2019s<\/a> final venture to the ring next time.<\/p>\n

But there\u2019s one potential fight for the Ukrainian star which may prove his biggest test to date \u2014 especially if they make a long-mooted leap in division.<\/p>\n

Johnny Fisher names potential threat to Oleksandr Usyk\u2019s reign<\/p>\n

Dominating two separate divisions since his move from the amateurs, Usyk had turned in a laundry list of notable wins over the sport\u2019s biggest stars of the modern era.<\/p>\n

But according to London prospect, Johnny Fisher<\/a> \u2014 there\u2019s a potential threat to Usyk\u2019s reign a division currently lower than the Ukrainian, particularly if they meet at a special weight limit.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Jai Opetaia could beat him (Oleksandr Usyk),\u201d Fisher told Seconds Out.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt cruiserweight \u2014 if he comes up [to heavyweight]. Or, if they meet at bridgerweight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Fisher is not the only British boxing star to suggest a potential future pairing of Usyk and undefeated cruiserweight champion, Jai Opetaia<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Gunning to replicate Usyk\u2019s prior success as undisputed cruiserweight champion, Opetaia boasts a staggering 22 knockout wins over the course of his 27-0 career. <\/p>\n

And receiving props in his bid to emulate Usyk\u2019s success, as well as backing to potentially hand the megastar his first pro defeat, the Australian has been sounded out as a future foe.<\/p>\n

As mentioned, attempting to land the undisputed cruiserweight championship, Opetaia, however, has been linked with a heavyweight climb in the not too distant future.<\/p>\n

And as far as Matchroom Boxing leader Eddie Hearn<\/a> is concerned, in just a year\u2019s time, Opetaia could position himself to take on Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight crown \u2014 particularly if he keeps winning.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe medium focus right now for him (Opetaia) is every belt in the division,\u201d Hearn told ESNEWS<\/a>.\u00a0\u201cAnd the long-term focus is to fight Usyk for the unified heavyweight world championship.<\/p>\n
