Leeds United<\/a> would clearly like to sign Rodrigo Muniz<\/a> from Fulham if the opportunity arises, but Atalanta\u2019s emerging interest makes it a more difficult proposition.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daniel Farke has made his feelings known about strengthening the Leeds attack<\/a> with Premier League quality, currently running with the same attack that won the Championship, minus Manor Solomon and plus Lukas Nmecha \u2013 a free transfer from Wolfsburg.<\/p>\n

Despite Nmecha\u2019s impressive performances in pre-season, the club are still lacking that star striker signing, one they tried making in June when lodging a \u00a332million<\/a> bid for Rodrigo Muniz at Fulham.<\/p>\n

Having been turned down there, the Whites still hold interest, but Sky Sports<\/a> reporting that Serie A side Atalanta are keen on the Brazilian as a replacement for Mateo Retegui, who has left for Saudi Arabia in a \u00a356million deal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Should Leeds get muscled out of another Brazilian attacker pursuit by another club with Champions League football on the table, it prompts a revisit to the striker pool.<\/p>\n

Here, we look at three names that could provide what Leeds are looking for in Muniz\u2026<\/p>\n

Ermedin Demirovic \u2013 Stuttgart<\/p>\n

The first name is someone that could realistically be a name that Farke is already an admirer of in Stuttgart\u2019s Ermedin Demirovic, given the club\u2019s heavy focus on German-based players since Farke took over.<\/p>\n

The Bosnia international enjoyed a stunning first campaign with Stuttgart, scoring 17 and assisting six across all competitions, filling the void left by Serhou Guirassy quite well.<\/p>\n

A strong presser and robust physical presence at 6ft1in, the 27-year-old compares well in terms of xG performance and chance creation to Muniz, per DataMB<\/a>:<\/p>\n

A year on from his \u00a318.25million<\/a> move to Stuttgart, he is likely to command a similarly decent fee to prise from his current club, but would certainly be capable of leading the line in the manner Leeds require.<\/p>\n

Tolu Arokodare \u2013 Genk<\/p>\n

Looking outside of the \u2018top five\u2019 leagues, a standout name is Genk\u2019s 6ft6in colossus Tolu Arokodare, off the back of 23 goals and seven assists in all competitions last season.<\/p>\n

The towering Nigeria international is only 24 and has continued to improve during his time at Genk, attracting interest from multiple Premier League clubs ahead of what could be his big move out of Belgium.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen how much Genk are commanding for Tolu\u2019s exit this summer, but it isn\u2019t likely to eclipse or come near what Leeds were willing to pay for Muniz\u2019s opening offer.<\/p>\n

A cheaper alternative, but one that could very easily be worth the gamble.<\/p>\n

Emanuel Emegha \u2013 Strasbourg<\/p>\n

Perhaps an ambitious name to round off the list but one that would certainly be capable of doubling Leeds\u2019 money if they made the move.<\/p>\n

Strasbourg\u2019s talented squad has already caught the attention of Leeds this summer with a bid for Habib Diarra (before Sunderland paid much more to sign him), and right-winger Dilane Bakwa emerging as a wide target.<\/p>\n

6ft5in striker Emanuel Emegha<\/strong> could be the ideal solution for Leeds as they look to sting teams on the break with superb athleticism littered through their recruitment so far.<\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly, Chelsea are being linked to sign the striker from their sister club, with the Telegraph\u2019s Matt Law saying he could be attaimable for a fee that could turn out to be a bargain in 12-24 months\u2019 time:<\/p>\n

\u201cI was told by someone who works around the Strasbourg end of things that they believe this guy could one day be a \u20ac50m-plus striker. I think Chelsea may be looking to do an early deal to get him in now, at a fair market value,\u201d Law said on the London is Blue podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause if you do it now, you can probably get him for around\u2014I\u2019m guessing here\u2014\u20ac25m (\u00a322m). If you wait another year, you might be looking at something closer to \u20ac40m (\u00a335m).\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

His 14 goals and three assists in Ligue 1 last season depict another player waiting for a big move very soon.<\/p>\n
