The search for new attackers at Leeds United<\/a> is ongoing, and there has been constant speculation about what market the club look into, including signing Premier League experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Daniel Farke\u2019s only experience in the top flight to date has been miserable with Norwich City, suffering one rock-bottom finish and being sacked before the Canaries did the same again.<\/p>\n

His time with Leeds already promises to be somewhat different thanks to the spending the 49ers have already committed to, but more has to follow if the Whites wish to stand any chance of survival, particularly in attack.<\/p>\n

Leeds have one free agent addition in their squad already this summer in striker Lukas Nmecha<\/a>, after his exit from Wolfsburg.<\/p>\n

The German struggled with ongoing injury issues during his time in the Bundesliga, having initially enjoyed a bright start to his career, and while he\u2019s caught the eye with his accomplished lone striker play during United\u2019s pre-season, he\u2019s expected to be a rotation option as opposed to the marquee forward addition.<\/p>\n

However, alongside Sunderland\u2019s supposed interest, Leeds will not be signing the 28-year-old after being put off by his lofty wage demands, as Calvert-Lewin also holds out for a better opportunity than Elland Road or the Stadium of Light.<\/p>\n

The Toffees are up first for Leeds in the Premier League next season, looking set for a new-look attack after the arrival of Thierno Barry up front, while agreeing a deal for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall<\/a> from Chelsea too.<\/p>\n

If Leeds wanted an injury-prone striker that has seen their peak come and go five years ago, then they may as well reinstate Patrick Bamford as part of the group.<\/p>\n

However, Farke making it clear to Bamford that he\u2019s not part of the plans means that someone like Calvert-Lewin makes zero sense to Leeds whatsoever.<\/p>\n

Players that are still free agents right now come with red flags one way or another, because if a player hasn\u2019t found a club by August, there\u2019s something scaring potential suitors off \u2013 with Calvert-Lewin, it\u2019s his injury record and wages on top of that.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s definitely a bullet dodged to know that Leeds aren\u2019t in the market for Calvert-Lewin, because the striker we need to sign must be a drastic improvement on what we\u2019ve got.<\/p>\n
