Visa is in talks to relocate its UK headquarters to Canary Wharf<\/a>\u00a0as activity in the London office occupational market continues to pick up.<\/p>\n The\u00a0170K SF block it is eyeing is at One Canada Square, one of the UK\u2019s tallest skyscrapers, the Financial Times reported<\/a>. The building is owned by Canary Wharf Group<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n The credit card giant\u00a0will\u00a0take over space being vacated by ratings agency Moody\u2019s<\/a>, which is moving to the City. Moody\u2019s\u00a0is leasing 111K SF at CBRE Investment Management<\/a>\u2019s 10 Gresham Street, with the option of leasing another 32K SF.\u00a0<\/p>\n Visa will relocate from about 150K SF in a building at British Land<\/a>\u2019s Paddington Central<\/a> scheme on a lease that runs to 2028.\u00a0<\/p>\n As well as Moody\u2019s, those moving out of\u00a0Canary Wharf include Clifford Chance<\/a>, State Street and HSBC<\/a> \u2014 although HSBC might actually be leasing more space in the Wharf because its new City HQ may be too small.\u00a0<\/p>\n Deutsche Bank<\/a> is reviewing its Canary office occupancy.<\/p>\n Those staying put include Morgan Stanley<\/a> and Barclays<\/a>, and JPMorgan Chase<\/a> is expanding\u00a0after completing a deal to take 150K SF at 1 Cabot Square that\u00a0was previously occupied by Credit Suisse<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n
