My first day of the Fringe, but many performers had already been up for a week, honing their shows before the weekend rush. So it was a gut punch to hear that dozens of performances were cancelled due to the storms battering Edinburgh.The Pleasance Courtyard shut down all outdoor shows until 6pm For artists who\u2019d spent days fine-tuning their work, it was miserable news\u2014and for those still going ahead, the pressure ramped up fast with the need to boost the spirits of the disgruntled punters. I can only imagine how fast wind-related jokes are being shoehorned into sets.<\/p>\n

Tape Face :20<\/strong><\/p>\n

Back at the Fringe after a 6 year Las Vegas residency, Tape Face (formerly The Boy With Tape On His Face) celebrates 20 years of surreal, side-splitting brilliance. Sam Wills\u2019 signature blend of mime, comedy, and interactive theatre. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s been over a decade since I last saw him in Edinburgh\u2014long before his breakout on America\u2019s Got Talent\u2014and even then, he was packing out venues with his magnetic weirdness. Tonight, not even the high winds could keep fans away, as they soaked up every moment of Tape Face\u2019s inventive chaos. No two shows are ever the same. Audience participation is the beating heart of the experience, and watching a nervous volunteer transform from shy guy to Full Monty superstar is pure gold.<\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re a longtime fan or a curious newcomer, this anniversary show is a must-see celebration of creativity, absurdity, and silent genius.<\/p>\n
