Buyers are attracted by its rich industrial history, cultural scene and some of the most affordable prices in the region, according to Zoopla.<\/p>\n<p>For those looking for choice, Derbyshire Dales has the biggest proportion of cottages for sale, with around a fifth (21.4%) of homes on the market being cottages, the website\u2019s analysis found.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.wales\/visit\/things-to-do\/exhibitions\/no-welsh-art\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/4776_NLW_No-Welsh-Art-Digital-Advert_Mar-2025_Land_V2_EN-1.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cottagecore<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Daniel Copley, a consumer expert at Zoopla, said: \u201cOur data shows a clear and sustained appetite for the cottagecore lifestyle, a trend that shows no signs of slowing down.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile the dream of a quaint, rural cottage is often associated with high prices, our analysis highlights that affordability can still be found across the country. From the rolling hills of North Lanarkshire to the coastal charm of Sunderland, there are options for prospective buyers on a range of budgets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re seeing this desire for a simpler life translate into market demand, with specific areas becoming hotspots for buyer interest.
