Katie Holmes<\/a>\u00a0sizzled with her costar Joshua Jackson<\/a> when shooting a scene for their new movie Happy Hour on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The 46-year-old ex-wife of Tom Cruise<\/a>\u00a0was beaming when looking at her former\u00a0Dawson’s Creek<\/a>\u00a0cast mate.<\/p>\n

Not only did they hold hands while leaning into each other but they shared a close hug when the cameras seemed to be off.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The chemistry was palpable as they smiled at each other and joked around.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Katie, who has an 19-year-old daughter Suri by Tom<\/a>, wore a coffee-stained white shirt with dark slacks and her brunette hair in a French braid.<\/p>\n

Jackson was dressed just as casually in a white T-shirt, black jeans with a brown belt and worn-in boots.<\/p>\n

Their film is a trilogy about love and marriage.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Recently Katie gushed about her friendship with Joshua in an Instagram post, writing: ‘I am so very grateful to be working again with so many of my wonderful friends on this film HAPPY HOURS. And working with Josh after so many years is a testament to friendship.’<\/p>\n

Dawson’s Creek ended in 2003 after six seasons.<\/a><\/p>\n

They also struck up a romance off-camera, with Katie and Joshua dating during the early years of the show.<\/p>\n

Katie told Rolling Stone in 1998: ‘I’m just going to say that I met somebody last year, I fell in love, I had my first love, and it was something so incredible and indescribable.<\/p>\n

‘I feel so fortunate because he’s now one of my best friends. It’s weird, it’s almost like a Dawson-and-Joey type thing now.’<\/p>\n

‘He’s been in the business so long, and he’s really helped me. I respect him as a friend and as a professional.’<\/p>\n

After their split, Jackson later married actress Jodie Turner-Smith in 2019.<\/a> They divorced in 2023. He has also been linked to\u00a0Lupita Nyong’o.<\/p>\n

This comes just as her daughter Suri is preparing to go back to college for her sophomore year<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last year daughter Suri began college at Carnegie Mellon, after graduating from New York’s famous LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts earlier this year.<\/p>\n

The high school, which was said to have inspired the movie Fame, has churned out a formidable array of celebrities over the years.<\/p>\n

Notable alumni range from Al Pacino and Liza Minnelli to Jennifer Aniston and Adrien Brody to newer faces like Ansel Elgort and Timothee Chalamet.<\/p>\n

Suri is now attending the prestigious college Carnegie Mellon, where she is said to be ‘leaning towards’ studying fashion.<\/p>\n

Katie started dating Tom in 2005 and got engaged to him seven weeks into the relationship.<\/p>\n

Their wedding was held at the Castello Orsini-Odescalchi in Bracciano in November 2006, seven months after Suri was born.<\/p>\n

Katie filed for divorce in 2012 and it was finalized just 10 days later, with Katie retaining primary custody of Suri while Tom was granted visitation, via People<\/a>.
