Jack Osbourne<\/a> has paid a heartbreaking tribute to his father Ozzy,\u00a0just days after he was laid to rest\u00a0in Buckinghamshire.<\/p>\n

The Black Sabbath frontman, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019, passed away at the age of 76 on July 22 surrounded by his family.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to his death certificate, the singer died from an ‘acute myocardial infarction’ and ‘out of hospital cardiac arrest’.<\/p>\n

Speaking on his death for the first time on social media, Jack said his ‘heart has hurt too much’ alongside some touching words to remember his father.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jack, 39, wrote: ‘I haven\u2019t really wanted to post anything since the passing of my father. My heart has hurt too much.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘I\u2019m gonna keep this short because he certainly hated long rambling speeches. He was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be apart of a very small group that got to call him \u201cDad\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ozzy was laid to rest on the grounds of his own mansion in Buckinghamshire last week during a\u00a0private funeral attended by his family and a host of rock royalty.\u00a0<\/p>\n

His widow Sharon, 72, and their children were joined by stars including Marilyn Manson<\/a>\u00a0and Ozzy’s lead guitarist Zakk Wylde during the\u00a0event at the family’s 250-acre estate near Gerrards Cross.\u00a0<\/p>\n

His passing came just weeks after he appeared on\u00a0stage for his farewell concert at Villa Park stadium\u00a0in his native Birmingham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jack said watching his dad on stage was \u2018very emotional.<\/a> Just to see him up there doing his job was great. We were all tearing up.\u2019<\/p>\n

His dad, however, remained nonplussed and replied with his typical blunt wit: \u2018Lot of f***ing good that does me. I\u2019m retired now!\u2019<\/p>\n

In the interview, Jack gave no clue that Ozzy\u2019s demise would be so soon. He said: \u2018Listen, everyone gets old, everyone slows down as you age \u2013 it\u2019s part of the journey.<\/p>\n

\u2018I just try and support him as much as I can. We all do.\u2019<\/p>\n

The concert – three weeks before his death – saw him reunite\u00a0with his original Black Sabbath bandmates for the first time since 2005.<\/p>\n

More than 42,000 fans packed into the venue for the Back To The Beginning show, during which he\u00a0told the crowd in his final speech: ‘You’ve no idea how I feel – thank you from the bottom of my heart.’<\/p>\n

Official documents listed three causes of death for the rock legend<\/a>.\u00a0This included an out of hospital cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction and coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a statement shared last month, Ozzy’s family said he died ‘surrounded by love’<\/a>, adding:\u00a0‘It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kelly spoke about how well Ozzy was doing\u00a0in a poignant last interview<\/a>\u00a0just two weeks before he died.<\/p>\n

Just two days before she got engaged to\u00a0Sid Wilson at Ozzy’s final performance with his band in Villa Park, Birmingham<\/a>, Kelly said her father was feeling ‘amazing’.<\/p>\n

She said: ‘My dad is amazing! He\u2019s so excited for his final show on Saturday.\u00a0There is all the nerves and all the excitement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘He\u2019s sailing through everything, and the rehearsals have been incredible. It\u2019s all about him.
