Leeds United have been offered a chance to sign Al-Hilal striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Serbia international moved to Saudi Arabia in 2023 after an impressive spell at Fulham and has since consistently showcased his goal-scoring abilities.<\/p>\n Daniel Farke arguably needs a new striker<\/a> at Elland Road, with Patrick Bamford and Mateo Joseph out of the German manager\u2019s plans.<\/p>\n Roma centre-forward Artem Dovbyk has emerged<\/a> as a target for the West Yorkshire outfit, but they may opt for a Premier League-proven goalscorer.<\/p>\n Al-Hilal\u2019s plan to sign a new high-profile number nine indicates that Mitrovic<\/a> could potentially be England-bound, according to The Chronicle.<\/p>\n The news outlet reports in its print edition (6 August, page 44) that the 30-year-old has been presented as an option at Elland Road<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Meanwhile, it\u2019s been claimed that Sunderland have been contacted to sign the \u201cprolific\u201d striker, who scored 28 goals for Al Hilal last season.<\/p>\n The Serbian attacker may need to take a pay cut, though, with his weekly wage of over \u00a3400,000 out of reach for the interested clubs.<\/p>\n Leeds relied on Joel Piroe<\/a> as their main number nine in the previous campaign, and while the Dutchman won the Championship Golden Boot, scoring regularly in the Premier League is a challenging task.<\/p>\n Mitorovic scored 43 goals in England\u2019s second division in the 2021\/22 season, before scoring 14 in Fulham\u2019s return to the top flight.<\/p>\n The 30-year-old\u2019s impressive hold-up play will definitely come in handy for Farke<\/a> in the Premier League if he ever opts to play more direct football.<\/p>\n Mitrovic\u2019s Saudi Pro League record last season.<\/p>\n![\"Leeds](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/daniel-farke-2-1024x576.jpg\")
