Then this is London\u2019s must-see exhibition. It showcases the golden age of the Mughal Empire during the reign of three of its emperors. It\u2019s filled with stunning illustrations, jewelled armaments, beautiful calligraphy, and even the cup used for daily ablutions looks overly grand. He brilliantly captures everyday Black life. It\u2019s not just his achievements as a painter but also the fact that he and his wife set up the Underground Museum to bring top-quality museum works to a deprived neighbourhood. <strong>Until 11th May, ticketed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fadmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Vital-Signs-Another-World-is-Possible-at-Science-Gallery-London.jpg\" data-lbwps-width=\"1600\" data-lbwps-height=\"891\" data-lbwps-srcsmall=\"https:\/\/fadmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Vital-Signs-Another-World-is-Possible-at-Science-Gallery-London-800x446.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"668\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Vital-Signs-Another-World-is-Possible-at-Science-Gallery-London-1200x668.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"lazyload wp-image-322191\"  data-\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The health of the natural world can directly affect our health, as we see in this show of art and science. I was drawn to Gayle Chong Kwan\u2019s River Guardians, which looks back at the history of the River Thames, its impact on London and the industries that used to exist around it. Once you\u2019ve taken in the show, then sit inside a bark cloth tent by Birungi Kawooya and allow the deadened sound and soothing smell to relax you. <strong>Until 17th May, free.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fadmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Mickalene-Thomas-All-About-Love-Linder-Danger-Came-Smiling-at-Hayward-Gallery.jpg\" data-lbwps-width=\"1600\" data-lbwps-height=\"1067\" data-lbwps-srcsmall=\"https:\/\/fadmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Mickalene-Thomas-All-About-Love-Linder-Danger-Came-Smiling-at-Hayward-Gallery-800x534.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Mickalene-Thomas-All-About-Love-Linder-Danger-Came-Smiling-at-Hayward-Gallery-1200x800.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"lazyload wp-image-322192\"  data-\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Both artists work with photo collage and examine women\u2019s roles and their bodies, making for a great pairing. <a href=\"https:\/\/fadmagazine.com\/tag\/mickalene-thomas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mickalene Thomas\u2019<\/a> paintings mixed with photography and rhinestones are a joyful celebration of black female bodies, and downstairs <a href=\"https:\/\/fadmagazine.com\/tag\/linder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Linder\u2019s<\/a> work looks at the sexual commodification of the female body within magazine culture, in works that are both playful and punchy. <strong>Until 5th May, ticketed.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fadmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-80s-Photographing-Britain-at-Tate-Britain.jpg\" data-lbwps-width=\"1600\" data-lbwps-height=\"1067\" data-lbwps-srcsmall=\"https:\/\/fadmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/The-80s-Photographing-Britain-at-Tate-Britain-800x534.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/The-80s-Photographing-Britain-at-Tate-Britain-1200x800.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"lazyload wp-image-322193\"  data-\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is an extensive and powerful photography exhibition that looks at racism, anti-Thatcher and nuclear missile protests, and the class divides within Britain, covering many of the biggest issues impacting Britain in the 1980s.
