We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.<\/p>\n<p><strong class=\"sc-1uza6dc-1 huxBsk\">Your support makes all the difference.<\/strong>Read more<\/p>\n<p>Parts of the country are set to be warmer this weekend than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/life-style\/health-and-families\/sad-b2710985.html\" title=\"How the longer brighter days of spring can make us more productive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">popular holiday destinations<\/a> such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/costa-del-sol\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Costa del Sol<\/a> and the Amalfi Coast.<\/p>\n<p>Britons can expect to bask in the sunshine in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/uk\/home-news\/suffolk-england-costa-del-sol-met-office-london-b2710954.html\" title=\"Spring weekend weather to make UK warmer than European holiday destinations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">highest temperatures of the year so far,<\/a> with 20C possible in central <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/england\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">England<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/uk\/home-news\/uk-weather-forecast-temperature-hot-sunny-b2710216.html\" title=\"UK weather: Britain to be hotter than Costa Del Sol with 18C highs forecast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> highest temperature recorded <\/a>so far in 2025 was 19C in Santon Downham in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/suffolk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Suffolk<\/a> on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday will be another fine and dry day for most, with rain and wind in the north and some patchy rain in the southwest, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/topic\/met-office\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Met Office<\/a> said.
