Rybakina won the contest 6-3 7-5.<\/p>\n<p>Tauziat is an authority on tennis and knows her way around the <a href=\"https:\/\/tennishead.net\/tag\/wta\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WTA Tour<\/a>: she won 33 titles during her playing career.<\/p>\n<p>Tauziat said: \u201cI don\u2019t know if she\u2019s better this week than Washington, but she have maybe more confidence, Vicky, so it can help.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut Rybakina play really good so far. I mean, I know she play very fast, very hard, so it\u2019s going to be tough.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut the thing she have more than Rybakina this week is the public, so it can change maybe something. We\u2019ll see. We will see, but I\u2019m sure the public will be behind Vicky.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo compared to Washington, it\u2019s going to be a big issue. She knows what she have to do. I mean, she have to return. It\u2019s not so easy, but she have to return first, and after she have to be very fast.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI mean, Rybakina, she\u2019s not going to give one point, and she\u2019s not going to change her game because she play Vicky.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Who is Nathalie Tauziat?<\/p>\n<p>Nathalie Tauziat is a French former professional tennis player, who won 25 WTA doubles titles and eight singles titles.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"785\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/GettyImages-51722014-1024x785.jpg\" alt=\"Ninth seeded Nathalie Tauziat of France returns the volley to eigth seeded Amelie Mauresmo of France during their match at the US Open in Flushing Meadows, New York, 03 September 2001.\" class=\"wp-image-317403\" \/>Photo credit should read STAN HONDA\/AFP via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Tauziat reached number three in the world in both singles and doubles, in 2000 and 2001 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The French star, who played on the tour from 1984 to 2003, reached the Wimbledon Ladies Singles final in 1998, only to lose to Jana Novotna in the final.<\/p>\n<p>Tauziat was also a finalist at the 2001 US Open while partnered with Kimberly Po.<\/p>\n<p>As a coach, Tauziat has worked with various players, including Marion Bartoli, Eugenie Bouchard, and Bianca Andreescu.<\/p>\n<p>Tauziat began her collaboration with Victoria Mboko at the start of 2025 and the partnership appears to have helped guide the 18-year-old towards superstardom on the WTA Tour.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Victoria Mboko will be hoping to extend her dream run at the Canadian Open on Wednesday evening.
