There\u2019s a new ghost tour in town, and it\u2019s led by someone who knows the afterlife first-hand. Meet Lord Bartholomew Catch, Leeds\u2019 most eccentric (and very much dead) tour guide, who is ready to take brave souls on a spine-tingling walk through the city\u2019s haunted past.<\/p>\n

Launching on 16 August, The Leeds Ghost Tour with Lord Catch is part history walk, part theatrical performance. The hour-long tour uncovers 13 eerie locations across Leeds, from the Corn Exchange to Kirkgate Market, complete with chilling tales of haunted dolls, murderous merchants, and other ghostly goings-on.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t expect a quiet stroll. Lord Catch lights the way with his lantern, booming voice, and a flair for Victorian drama. A self-styled \u201cLord of the Briggate slums\u201d, he\u2019s full of steampunk nonsense, real ale opinions and suspicious stories from his shadowy past. Nobody\u2019s quite sure how he died \u2013 and he\u2019s not about to spill.<\/p>\n

Produced by Yorkshire Ghost Tours, this immersive experience runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 6.30pm and 8pm. Tours begin outside the Leeds Corn Exchange and last around 60 minutes. Whether you\u2019re a local or just visiting, it\u2019s a chance to see the city from a darker, stranger angle.<\/p>\n
