($50,000 in Cash Prize) \u2013 Opportunities For Africans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t500<\/p>\n<p>Application Deadline: 29 August 2025<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications are now open for the<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opportunitiesforafricans.com\/nba-africas-triple-double-accelerator-program-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2025 NBA Africa\u2019s Triple Double Accelerator Program.<\/a> NBA Africa Triple-Double Accelerator\u00a0aims to support the next wave of early-stage African startup businesses transforming the sports and creative sectors.<\/p>\n<p>The accelerator scouts bold founders across the continent, equipping them with AI-first capacity building, global mentorship, world-class coaching, and direct access to investors, partners, and fans.<\/p>\n<p>Theme:<\/p>\n<p>The Triple-Double Accelerator is seeking tech-enabled startups whose products and or services align with the following categories: <\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sports &amp; Innovation<\/li>\n<li>Creative Startups<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eligibility Criteria<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Are headquartered in Africa<\/li>\n<li>Are less than 2 years old<\/li>\n<li>Are building in the sports or creative industries<\/li>\n<li>Have a tech-enabled solution with clear market value<\/li>\n<li>Have a proof-of-concept prototype with potential for profit, inclusivity, and scale<\/li>\n<li>Have two co-founders committed full-time (40+ hrs\/week)<\/li>\n<li>Are preferably registered as a company<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Benefits<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The shortlisted startups will enroll in a 10-week mentorship program where they will be paired with mentors comprised of NBA Africa, ServiceNow, ALX leadership, and other corporate stakeholders who will provide guidance to the companies with a focus on product development, business growth and go-to-market strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Top 5 winners will stand to win up to $50,000 in cash and value-in-kind benefits each<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>B<\/strong><strong>usiness coaching and advisory<\/strong>\u00a0from global experts<\/li>\n<li><strong>Brand visibility<\/strong>\u00a0across the NBA and ALX ecosystem<\/li>\n<li><strong>Masterclasses<\/strong>\u00a0on AI, product, sales, fundraising &amp; more<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pitch refinement<\/strong>\u00a0with mock rounds and expert guidance<\/li>\n<li><strong>Networking opportunities<\/strong>\u00a0with alumni, investors &amp; clients<\/li>\n<li><strong>Personalized roadmap<\/strong>\u00a0to help you hit product, revenue, or investor goals<\/li>\n<li><strong>In-person event<\/strong>\u00a0in a major African city<\/li>\n<li>Spotlight and PR at the\u00a0<strong>Demo Day<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Application Procedure:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What\u2019s your startup\u2019s story? Who do you serve, what problem do you solve, and what makes your solution different?<\/li>\n<li>What traction have you achieved? Share key metrics, milestones, and customer growth.<\/li>\n<li>Who\u2019s behind the business? Introduce your co-founders and team dynamics.<\/li>\n<li>How does your business make money? Walk us through your revenue model.<\/li>\n<li>What impact are you creating? Tell us how your work will create jobs on the continent.<\/li>\n<li>Have something to show?
