Whenever a celebrity is asked about their favourite video game, they tend to give the stock answer. Unless it\u2019s Henry Cavill on the other side of the microphone, you\u2019re usually going to hear the same responses: Super Mario Bros<\/a>, Fortnite<\/a>, Call of Duty<\/a>, and so on.<\/p>\n

But for Outer Banks star Madelyn Cline, her taste is a bit more refined than that:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe I\u2019ve sunk the most time into is Returnal. Great game. It\u2019s a first-person shooter [that\u2019s] rogue-style. It\u2019s very cool.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Interviewer Josh Horowitz, perhaps expecting a more obvious answer<\/a>, clearly has no idea what she\u2019s talking about. We\u2019ll let Cline off on the perspective slip, because the game does technically have some first-person elements, although its primarily a third-person shooter \u2013 as we\u2019re sure she\u2019s aware.<\/p>\n

Still, it\u2019s cool to see Housemarque\u2019s work recognised by a celebrity like this. We doubt she\u2019s going to sell many copies of the game here, but the 27-year-old does technically have almost 17 million followers<\/a> on Instagram, so she\u2019s not a nobody.<\/p>\n

The Finnish team may want to consider sending the actress a goodie bag \u2013 we reckon she\u2019d really appreciate a signed copy of that comic book<\/a> that came out recently.<\/p>\n
