A Royal expert has criticized Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for allegedly seeking a compromise that goes against the late Queen’s wishes. Last month, representatives of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted in London engaging in clandestine discussions with King Charles’ aides.<\/p>\n

The Sussexes’ team included their chief communications officer, Meredith Maines, and Liam Maguire, who oversees their PR operations in the UK. Representing the King<\/a> was his communications secretary, Tobyn Andreae.<\/p>\n

Amidst these developments, there are claims that the Duke<\/a> has proposed sharing his official itinerary to avoid overlapping with significant Royal events, an offer that some Royal observers view as a significant conciliatory gesture.<\/p>\n

However, a Royal commentator has harshly criticized the Duke, suggesting that the couple is attempting to “kind of get back” into the Royal circle.<\/p>\n

Samara Gill, speaking to The Sun, said: “I think he [Prince Harry<\/a>] is trying to get reconciliation before the King goes.”, reports the Express<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She referenced Prince Harry<\/a>‘s remarks from a BBC interview, where he expressed concern about his father’s longevity: “I mean, he did obviously say in that BBC interview, ‘I don’t know how much longer my father has left’, and obviously dropped a bunch more bombshells in that interview.”<\/p>\n

Gill found it surprising that after such a recent interview, they are now looking to coordinate schedules and find a way for Harry to return. “Though it wasn’t that long ago, so it’s kind of crazy now that they’re trying to share diary slots and trying to figure out how he can kind of get back in with the royal fold, because Queen Elizabeth II did say, ‘you can’t have it both ways, you can’t be one foot in, one foot out royals. I don’t want that.'”<\/p>\n

She concluded by saying, “And I think that this is really betraying what she wanted for them.”<\/p>\n

Ms. Gill commented that the Sussexes must make a choice about their Royal status, arguing that their current “hybrid” position is untenable.<\/p>\n

She remarked: “They’re like typical millennial royals who want to do, like, gig economy jobs in the royal family or something.<\/p>\n

“I don’t exactly know what their whole plan is.<\/p>\n

“It’s a very confused strategy.
