GAA legend Joe Brolly has also recently expressed his opinion that McIlroy\u2019s win wasn’t exactly the height of thrilling excitement \u2013 at least not when compared to other sports.<\/p>\n

Speaking on his Free State podcast alongside Dion Fanning, the former Derry Gaelic footballer and All-Ireland winner shared: \u201cGolf like…Can you compare the golf like… you didn’t, for example, you weren’t at the Clare v Cork All-Ireland Hurling final last year, that’s gripping, that’s people absolutely gripped. <\/p>\n

“It’s just something that I find… see, I never played golf and all of that. I can understand obviously the excitement of two players vying it out at the end with everything on the line,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n
