Vertical Entertainment has released the full trailer for Ron Howard\u2019s survival thriller \u201cEden\u201d ahead of its theatrical release on August 22nd.<\/p>\n

The story is based on an unsolved true story mystery that unfolded on a remote island in the Galapagos and charts the lengths humans will go in pursuit of happiness.<\/p>\n

Set in 1920, the story follows a group of outsiders (Jude Law, Ana de Armas, Vanessa Kirby, Daniel Br\u00fchl, Sydney Sweeney) who settle on a remote island, only to discover their greatest threat isn\u2019t the brutal climate or deadly wildlife \u2013 but each other.<\/p>\n

The film has been a dream project of Howard who has been keen to do the story for fifteen years. Noah Pink (\u201cTetris\u201d=:) penned the script while Hans Zimmer does the score.<\/p>\n

Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and Karen Lunder produce the project which was shot on Australia\u2019s Gold Coast.<\/p>\n

The film launched at the Toronto International Film Festival last year.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
