{"id":324860,"date":"2025-08-07T09:48:17","date_gmt":"2025-08-07T09:48:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/324860\/"},"modified":"2025-08-07T09:48:17","modified_gmt":"2025-08-07T09:48:17","slug":"man-jailed-for-crime-spree-across-sandwell-dudley-and-kidderminster","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/324860\/","title":{"rendered":"Man jailed for crime spree across Sandwell, Dudley and Kidderminster"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Martin Rollason stole from a number of stores across both boroughs in January this year.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  West Midlands Police said the robber targeted shops in Coseley, Dudley, Netherton, Tipton and Smethwick.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The force said Rollason even made threats to stab workers while he plucked goods from a shop in Hales Lane, Smethwick.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The 39-year-old was arrested towards the end of January and went on to admit more than a dozen offences, ranging from robbery, theft and also a burglary in Kidderminster in June last year.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Rollason, of Hagley Road, Harborne, was jailed for six years at Wolverhampton Crown Court last Thursday (31 July).<\/p>\n<p>Sergeant Richard Mander, from the Sandwell Neighbourhood Crime Team, said: &#8220;Rollason committed a series of crimes and was prepared to put others in fear to take what he wanted.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve now managed to ensure he has been taken off the streets and can no longer harm businesses and residents across Sandwell and Dudley.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Martin Rollason stole from a number of stores across both boroughs in January this year.
