Spider-Man will be swinging through the streets of Glasgow for longer than expected as Marvel extends its filming schedule in the city.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Production for the Marvel blockbuster film has transformed Glasgow into New York City with prop construction sites, New York Police Department vehicles, and classic yellow taxis spotted.<\/p>\n

Excitement reached new levels on Sunday when Tom Holland, who plays the web-slinging hero, made an appearance and stopped to interact with fans.<\/p>\n

Since then, his stunt double has been seen swinging through the streets and dodging explosions along Bothwell Street in the city centre.<\/p>\n

Thousands of fans have descended on the city in hopes of catching a glimpse of the action.<\/p>\n

Glasgow City Council previously confirmed multiple roads will be impacted when production for an undisclosed film gets under way.<\/p>\n

Filming kicked off on July 31 and was initially due to finish on August 15; however, extra dates and road closures have since been announced.<\/p>\n

STV News understands that filming will move towards the eastern part of the city centre and conclude on August 26.<\/p>\n

5am on August 22 to 10pm on August 24<\/strong><\/p>\n

From 7am on August 25 to 11.59pm on August 26<\/strong><\/p>\n

Montrose Street between George Street and Ingram Street<\/p>\n

From 3pm on August 21 to 11.59pm on August 26<\/strong><\/p>\n
