Marinos and Athletic Club.<\/p>\n<p>The 17-year-old also teed up <a data-ail=\"325215\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/darwin-nunez\/\" title=\"Darwin Nunez\" rel=\"noopener\">Darwin Nunez<\/a> for his goal against the latter, having established himself as a go-to option on the left flank.<\/p>\n<p>While it is often the case that young talent will be used throughout pre-season before resuming duties in the academy ranks, This Is Anfield understands Ngumoha is considered a genuine first-team contender heading into the new campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool are exploring the market for an additional attacking signing after agreeing the \u00a346 million sale of <a data-ail=\"325215\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/darwin-nunez\/\" title=\"Darwin Nunez\" rel=\"noopener\">Darwin Nunez<\/a>, but opportunities for their No. 73 \u2013 who is set to sign a new contract when he turns 18 next month \u2013 will also be a priority.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" data-lazy-type=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/P2025-08-04-Liverpool_Atletic_Bilbao-35-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND - Monday, August 4, 2025: Liverpool's Trey Nyoni during a pre-season friendly match between Liverpool FC and Athletic Bilbao at Anfield.
